South Coast Staff Ltd, are recruiting for experienced full time & part time Healthcare Assistants.
Help residents by supporting personal hygiene, providing comfort and daily living needs in the Care Homes we supply to.
A valid Moving and Handling Certificate.
NVQ in Health and Social Care (not essential as we can arrange NVQ training for you).
The Care Certificate.
Qualifications or recognised training in any of the following: Infection Control, Nursing/Residential Care, Health & Safety, Mental Capacity Act/Deprivation of Liberties, Safeguarding, Dementia, Epilepsy, Parkinson’s Disease, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Challenging Behaviour, P.B.S., Break Away, Communication, Confidentiality, Person Centred Care, Duty of Care, Equality & Diversity, Dignity & Respect, Food Hygiene, Sepsis Awareness, Choke Training, Death, Dying & Bereavement, Fire Training, First Aid and Basic Life Support.
All the above training can be arranged and carried out by our In-house trainer.

A valid DBS is required for all roles, or at the cost to the applicant, we can apply for one. If you are in receipt of benefits, in contact with Jobcentre Plus or local government authorities/charities you may be able to get assistance in paying for this.
Be flexible as you may be required to work at short notice.
Full driving licence is an advantage but not essential as all the clients we supply to are accessible by public transport.
